ASA Transit offers a high level of service in the coordination of bus transportation for
- ASA-sponsored events
- Charter Services Contracts for college and group sponsored events.
We offer the convenience of travel to/from the Yale campus with competitive prices. All buses have 54 seats, wireless Internet access and air conditioning.
ASA Transit maintains an administrative business office on campus, and its student managers are readily available to serve the Yale community.
ASA Transit will be providing shuttle service for the following events for the 2016 fall term:

This is a service that is offered to college administrators and student group leaders who are planning specific travel events for their students throughout the academic year. We service small and large student groups and strive to tailor travel accommodations to your specific needs. ASA Transit managers are available to answer questions and assist with your travel plans.
Charter Service Instructions- Download a contract from the link below, fill in your details and email, fax, or drop off the form to the ASA office. Contact information can be found at the bottom of this site. A manager will contact you and provide you with an estimate within 2-3 business days. Charter requests must be made prior to two weeks before a scheduled event and full payment must be received prior to one week before the event. Transit managers can be available to help with boarding and will be on call throughout the event should any problems arise.
Ticket Purchasing Policies
NOTE: By purchasing a ticket, you agree to follow the rules and regulations of ASA Transit, Academy Bus, and all instructions from the driver and ASA Transit staff.
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. There is a limited number of tickets available and they are sold on a first-come, first serve basis.
Q. What do I need to bring?
A. You must have your Yale ID and the order confirmation email that you received upon completing your purchase.
Q. What type of bus will I be traveling on?
A. We use the highest quality charter buses with individual seats for 54 passengers, heating/air conditioning and ample luggage storage.
Q. When can I buy tickets?
A. Links to the purchase page will become active sometime in the weeks prior to each event. Check the website often for the most up-to-date information. There are a limited number of tickets available and they are sold on a first-come, first serve basis.
Q. Where do I buy tickets?
A. Tickets can only be purchased through our online reservation process. Just click on the link above to book your reservation.
Q. Where do I board my bus?
A. Each event may have a different departure point. Please consult the information for your specific trip.
Q. When can I get on my bus?
A. Buses will begin to board 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
